The 2021 Dub City Edition Uniforms are going to be a bright spot in what has seemed to be a year full of set backs. Inspired by the 2020-21 Charlotte Hornets “Buzz City” Edition Uniforms, the Dream will be paying homage to the area as well as a majority of their sponsors and supporters over the past five minor league basketball seasons. The color combinations include a coal mine gray to tie in the area’s rich history in the coal industry as well as a beer yellow pinstripe for the DuBois Brewery and the recognizable royal blue the Dream has been known for over the past three seasons.
The subtle details put together by the Dream’s longtime uniform designer and supplier, A-Line Athletics, are highlighted by the yellow and royal blue pinstripes throughout the uniform that showcase some of the biggest organizations and supporters of the Dream over the past 5 years. If you look closely you will recognize a lot of the key supporters who have helped the Dream get to where they are today and includes a jersey patch for the “Dr. Albert Varacallo Foundation” which is the non-profit organization the Dream first partnered and played for in the 2016 ESPN The Basketball Tournament.
The back of the jersey will include the Premier Basketball League Logo Patch as well as this year’s player last names and numbers surrounded by the organization/supporter pinstripes.
