The DuBois Dream is proud to announce its 2019 roster for its third season. The lineup includes:

Cameron “Cam” Grumley, Guard

Cameron “Cam” Grumley is a native of Johnsonburg, PA. He spent four years on the men’s basketball team at Clarion University of Pennsylvania before joining the DuBois Dream. In his first season with the team, wearing #0, he’ll see plenty of action as a guard. He lives by the words, “hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.” When he’s not on the court, Cam enjoys golf, ping pong, watching sports and spending time with his family.

Elijah Bryant, Point Guard

Elijah Bryant will wear jersey #1 and hit the court as a point guard in his first season with the DuBois Dream. A native of Staten Island, NY, he spent his college basketball career at SUNY Plattsburgh. Elijah, known to friends as “The Book of Eli,” is a firm believer that you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Off the court, he enjoys playing video games, bowling and playing pool.

Reuel “Ru” Moore, Combo Guard

Reuel “Ru” Moore is returning to the DuBois Dream this season as a combo guard. He has honed his basketball skills while playing on the men’s team at Albright College, and playing professionally for the DuBois Dream, Aguilas Dorados Durango in Mexico and Liga Direct TV in Columbia. A native of Newark, NJ, Ru believes that hard work is the key to accomplishing your dreams. When he isn’t playing basketball, Ru enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

Demetrice “Q” Jacobs, Guard

Demetrice “Q” Jacobs hails from Harlem, NY and is preparing for his first season with the DuBois Dream. This guard will sport jersey #4, and lives by the motto, “the clock don’t stop!”  He played previously at Dalton State College, in Dalton, GA, and with Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce, a professional team from Panama. Off the court, Q enjoys playing pool and visiting art galleries.

Hasiin “Peach” Dixon, Combo Guard

Hasiin “Peach” Dixon, whose nickname pays tribute to his home state, Georgia, will sport #5 in his second season with the DuBois Dream. Before joining the team, this combo guard spent four years on the men’s basketball team at Penn State Worthington Scranton in Dunmore, PA. When enjoying time off the court, Peach can be found laughing, playing Fortnite and spending time with his dog and family. His motto is “stay hungry. Stay humble. Stay blessed.”

De’Ondre “Redd” Terrell, Forward

De’Ondre “Redd” Terrell, second-year forward with the DuBois Dream, was born in Alliance, OH and raised in Clarksville, TN. Before sporting #13 for the Dream, he was a member of the men’s basketball team at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and is a firm believer that the most successful people “keep grinding no matter what.”  Redd is a self-proclaimed “goofball” who loves animals and enjoys spending free time playing Xbox.

Sam Roselli, Forward/Center

Sam Roselli is in his third season as a forward and center for the DuBois Dream.  This Ridgway, PA native was a member of the men’s basketball team at Penn State DuBois before sporting the #23 for the Dream. Off the court, Sam enjoys camping, drawing, skiing, football, baseball and spending time with his dog. Known to friends as “Sambo,” he said the best advice he’s ever received is not to worry about things or you’ll only suffer twice.

Tristan “T” Pierce, Combo Guard

Tristan “T” Pierce joined the DuBois Dream last season, late in the year as a combo guard. A native of Lancaster, OH, he played basketball at Penn State DuBois before sporting #30 for the Dream. Off the court, Tristan can be found playing video games or watching sports.  He’s a firm believer in hard work and lives by the motto, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Albert Varacallo, III, Guard/Forward

Albert Varacallo, III, is the Owner and General Manager of the DuBois Dream, as well as a guard and forward on the court.  Known to friends as “Al,” #31 was previously a member of the men’s basketball team at Gannon University and at Washington and Jefferson College.  He lives by the words of his father, “patience is bitter, but the fruit of it is sweet.” Off the court, Albert works as an attorney in his hometown of DuBois, PA. He’s a dog lover who believes that hard work can never be defeated.

Jake Perrin, Head Coach

Jake Perrin, interim head coach of the DuBois Dream, played basketball at Penn State DuBois.  He has previously worked as the head coach of the DuBois Dream AAU varsity team, and has worked as a volunteer and assistant coach for the Dream.  Off the court, Jake can be found hiking or camping, relaxing in a coffee shop or listening to music.  When asked to share the best advice he’s ever been given, Coach offered a quote from the Bible, Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path.”
