The DuBois Dream continues to find new ways to positively impact the community and reach new fans. If there is a cause in the DuBois Area, area folks can bet the DuBois Dream will be making an appearance to the best of their abilities. However, the DuBois Dream plans great events of their own and that is in large part because of the hard work of Beth Ann Roy, the event and party planner of the DuBois Dream.

Beth Ann was born and raised in DuBois and attended DuBois Central Catholic HIgh School. Roy has been surrounded by sports her entire life and played basketball, softball, and volleyball in her middle school days. Beth Ann has always enjoyed the social aspect of a party or an event and admits planning out her own birthday parties as a teenager.

“I was the little girl who the day after my birthday started planning for next year. I was the soon to be 16 yr old who planned a party and my family surprised me with one at Treasure Lake. I am also the girl who had countless swimming parties and paid my cousins to DJ.” While Roy loves event planning, she also is a successful businesswoman in Risk Management while working for Premium Transportation Group in DuBois. When asking Beth Ann how she is able to juggle each of these roles, she admitted her family has been key throughout her upbringing and remains the most important component of her life to this day.

“My parents and grandparents were truly key to putting me on the right path to success. With that, I always trusted God to lead me and I have remained reliable, hardworking, and motivated throughout my life to help my family in anyway I could.” When she heard her cousin Albert Varacallo III was going to bring a Minor League Basketball Team to DuBois, she immediately jumped on board to help with the cause and see her cousin succeed in this business.

Beth Ann has some great expectations for the team this year including a winning season as well as a great improvement to bring a headquarters and event center to DuBois for the DuBois Dream to use. She is looking forward to seeing the Little Dreamers interacting with the 2018-2019 DuBois Dream Roster and seeing the inspiration and joy the players bring the community.

In her free time, Roy enjoys spending time with her husband Tony and twin daughters Taylor and Emma. In addition, she loves to spend any chance she gets to go bowling or shopping.

Beth Ann Roy is a spirited woman who has given a lot of time to the DuBois Dream organization and has helped many feel closer to this organization because of the great events and parties she has planned. Her spirit and eagerness to continue to make the DuBois Dream a better team both on and off the floor has been instrumental to the success of the organization.

Beth Ann was and will forever be extremely happy to help Albert and the rest of the DuBois Dream staff plan some great events to continue to bring great entertainment to the area. “I am surely Albert’s favorite cousin.” Roy said
