Last Saturday, the Dream suffered their third loss of the PBL season against the Chautauqua Hurricane, however they are looking to bounce back against a familiar foe in the Lancaster Thunder this Saturday at the DuBois Area Middle School for a special “Mental Health Awareness Night”. Lancaster took the Dream down in Ohio last month and the Dream look to return the favor on their own homecourt. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm and doors open at 6pm as the first 100 fans through the door will receive a FREE T-shirt thanks to the non-profit partner of the night the Clearfield-Jefferson Suicide Prevention Team.
The Dream will look to use some momentum this Saturday from the highly anticipated return of PBL Player of the Week, Juwan Willis. When asked about his return and playing for the Dream, Willis said, “Everyone is so easy to play with which makes my role so much easier. The team is like a family, everyone was super cool when I first met them. After I won player of the week I had a bunch of kids, family members and a whole bunch of people in the DuBois community reaching out and saying how excited they were to see me play. It was definitely all love, I appreciate all them.” Willis will look to match his 42 point, 13 assist performance from two weeks ago, as he will be facing off against two-time player of the week and Lancaster’s leading scorer, Jae’Tuan Williams.
Prior to the game, the Dream will be hosting a FREE Kids Camp (presented by Spitzer Autoworld) at the DuBois Area YMCA from 3:00pm-5:00pm. All campers will receive a FREE t-shirt and skills instruction from Dream players, coaches and staff. Registration is still going on online by clicking here.
