Game Rules (Summary)
Initial Possession – Coin flip
Scoring (*Court Moderator) –
3rd-5th Grade – Games will be played to 5 (1 point and 2 points, if scored behind the arc) | 6 minute playing time limit per game
6th-8th Grade – Games will be played to 7 (1 point and 2 points, if scored behind the arc) | 7 minute playing time limit per game
High School and Open Women’s/Men’s – Games will be played to 11 (1 point and 2 points, if scored behind the arc) | 10 minute playing time limit per game
*Overtime –
3rd-5th Grade and 6th-8th Grade: Free Throw Sudden Death (*Each Team picks a player to shoot a Free Throw for the win)
High School Boys, Open Women’s and Open Men’s: first team to score (*Coin flip for possession)
Free-Throws – 1 FT and 2 FT’s, if fouled behind the arc
Fouls – Players call own (*Court Moderator will handle disputes) | 5 Team Fouls (1 FT) and 7+ Team Fouls (2 FT’s) | Technical Foul (*Court Moderator Decision) – 1 FT + Possession
Check-ball to begin play AFTER Score/Dead Ball Change of Possession
Defensive Rebound AND/OR Change of Possession – Ball Must Be Taken Behind The Arc Before Scoring
Substitutions – In dead ball situations, prior to the check-ball
*Court Moderator will oversee games and be the final decision maker in disputes

What is the “Tournament of Champions”?
The Tournament of Champions is a multi-round 3 on 3 Tournament based out of DuBois, PA, where teams compete against each other in order to be crowned the top 3 on 3 basketball team.
When are the Tournaments/Rounds?
Round 1 – Date: June 12th | Location: City Park Courts (DuBois, PA)
Round 2 – Date: July 3rd | Location: Taylor Memorial Park Courts (Brockway, PA)
Finals Round – Date: TBD (Tentative Date – July 25th) | Location: City Park Courts (DuBois, PA)
How do I qualify for the Tournament of Champions Final Round?
In order to qualify for the Tournament of Champions Final Round, you must play in and win (or be runner-up) in Round 1 or Round 2 of the Tournament of Champions Qualifying Tournaments in DuBois and/or Brockway. After qualifying, your team will be invited back for the Finals in July where the Round 1 Winner (DuBois, PA) will square off against Round 2 Runner-Up (Brockway, PA) and Round 2 Winner (Brockway, PA) will square off against Round 1 Runner-Up (DuBois, PA). This will be a Final Double Elimination Tournament and take place in each Division in July at the DuBois City Park Courts.
Do we have to play in both Qualifying Rounds in order to make the Finals?
No. You only have to play in and win (or be runner-up) in 1 Qualifying Tournament in order to make the Finals Round, but you can play in both in order to increase your chances of making the Finals Round.

Round 2: Brockway, PA – TBD

*Registration will be accepted the day of the Tournament, however online registration is highly recommended
When can I register on-site?
For Round 1 on Community Days, on-site registration will start at 9:30 AM, we will be right next to Busketball.
On-site registration start time for Round 2 (Brockway, PA) will be announced soon.
